Study on the Method of Detecting the Maize Seeds by Salt-soluble Protein PAGE Electrophoresis

Abstract: The purity and authenticity of maize seeds of 10 genotypes were detected with the method of the salt-soluble protein PAGE electrophoresis. With the contrast of the PAGE patterns of salt-soluble protein on these 10 varieties, we can find the common patterns of maize and the peculiar patterns of every special variety. Then the standard patterns of varieties can be established to identify a variety unknown.
