Abstract: White character is a useful marker trait in Brassica napus L, white petal rapeseed and their segregation populations were used as experiment materials to study the inheritance of white petal traits. The results showed that the white petal color character was controlled by one pair of incomplete dominant gene. Bulked segregation analysis(BSA) was employed to identify the amplified fragment length polymorphism(AFLP) markers linked to the white petal gene, from a survey of 256 AFLP primer combinations, six AFLP markers tightly linked to the white petal gene were identified. In which EA11MC04 and EA12MC01, the two closest markers, were located on either side of the white petal gene at a distance of 0. 8 and 1. 0 cM, respectively.
