Abstract: The objective of this research was to study the different photoperiod on blood biochemical parameters of hens. At the age of 20 week, 320 Hyline (Brown) commercial hens were randomly assigned to 8 groups, with four replications per group, 10 chickens in each replication. Photoperiods, which have four levels 11L:13D, 13L:11D, 15L:9D, 17L:7D, according two methods abruptly increscent and slowly increscent achieved. The results showed as follows: different lighting increments had some effects on biochemical parameters, metabolize in surge period. Group Ⅳ had higher protein, globulin and ALP than other groups. Group Ⅵ had higher calcium, phosphorus in blood than other groups (P<0.05). The same lighting period, different lighting increment, abruptly increment had higher blood sugar than slowly increment groups, with the longer photoperiod, the higher content of blood sugar. GPT and urea nitrogen in group Ⅷ were higher than other groups. In a word, 13L:11D photoperiod with slowly increscent would be better in the production of hens.
