Study on Isoenzymes of Alloplasmic Common Wheats with Aegilops crassa Cytoplasm

Abstract: Isoenzymes of Peroxidase and Esterase were analyzed in flag leaf from 3 group′s alloplasmic common wheats with Aegilops crassa 6x cytoplasm. The bands number of peroxidase isoenzymes is 8 for Norin 26,7 for Yongliang 4 and 6 for CAU-wu-01,while the number of peroxidase isoenzyme′s bands of 3 NC hybrids with Aegilops crassa 6x cytoplasm were all the same,The isoenzyme activity for band 1 expressed weakly in all the NC hybrids wheats.Compared with nuclear donor parents, the number of esterase bands did not show change obviously but the activity of the enzyme showed a bit different.The esterase activity among different supplied materials did not change regularly.All these results show that the interaction of Aegilops crassa 6x cytoplasm and common wheat nucleus can be expressed by relative activity of isoenzymes in flag leaves at filling stage.
