Abstract: A water culturaLexperiment about the effect of oleic acid at different levels on the growth of cu-cumber ( Cucumber sativus L.)seedling was conducted in greenhouse. The results indicated that at the leveLof 10 μ L/L, the oleic acid had no effect on the growth of the cucumber seedling compared with the controL.At the leveL100, 500, 1 000 μ L/L, oleic acid had the negative effect on itsgrowth. The growth was strongly affect-ed by the oleic acid at the leveLof 1 000 μ L/L, and the difference was statistically significant compared to the controL.According to the data, the experiment showed that the oleic acid had no directly positive effect on the growth of cucumber seedling.
