Variance Analysis of Influence of Genotype and Medium on Brassica rapa in vitro Shoot Regeneration

Abstract

Abstract: The influence of genotype,hormone and AgNO₃ on in vitro shoot regeneration of cotyledon explants of 17 Brassica campestris(rapa) cultivars was investigated by biometrics.Genotype is limiting factor for the shoot regeneration.Hormone and AgNO₃ are also important.BA and AgNO₃ can enhance shoot regeneration,and their proper concentration may vary according to different genotypes.
