Abstract: The activity of SOD and the contents of malondialdehyde, water soluble sugar and proline in leaves and roots of wheat during jointing stage at low temparature stress of 0~2℃ were analysed. It was found through comprehensive evaluation of subordinate function that there were differences among the 4 kinds of physiological biochemical indices mentioned above, but their change tendencies were the same. The cold resistances of the experimental varieties of wheat were divided into 3 types strength, medium and weakness.
