Abstract: RAPD(Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA)was employed to identify the relative control over hybrid progenies of cucumber(Cucumis Sativus L.)germplasm.From the RAPD patterns of hybrid progenies,we successfully detected the genetic drift. From F2 population,we found 9 polymorphic markers, which were located on 6 chromosomes, and the genetic types of each F2 plants were screened. These provided a basis for further research on marker assisted selection (MAS) in cucumber breeding.

Key words: Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L. ) , Breeding relative control, RAPD
