Abstract: The canopy apparent photosynthesis property in middle-ripe summer maize with supperhigh yield were reported. The results showed that the dovelopmental trends of canopy apparent leaf area of the maize was fast, steady and substractive respectively at postfloral, prefloral and dough stages; LAD was higher in the stage which economic yield shaping, but total LAD was appropriate; the canopy apparent photosynthesis rate was higher and steady. The ratio of canopy respiration was lower in the canopy photosynthesis; the higher dry matter productivety and multiplying canopy LAD by assimilation of total dry matter, especially, the higher dry matter production become at postgrowth stage and it was one of important property of canopy photosynthesis in summer maize with supperhigh yield.

Key words: Summer maize, Supperhigh yield, Photosynthesis property
