Function of Paclobutrazol on Potato Yield and Its Physiological Effect

Abstract

Abstract: During potato tuber enlargement stage applying paclobutrazol (effective constituent 20 g/mu)，can inerease the chlorophyl content by 22.8，net photosynthetic intensity by 56.700，inhibit vegetative growth of the parts above ground, promot distribution of photosynthate to potato tuber.Economic efficiency increased by 66.7%，the percentage of larger-size tuber increased remarkably,as a result, potato yield and commercial value both higher.
