摘要： 一般配合力(g.c.a.)对玉米单交种产量的形成,有直接的和间接的双重作用,是形成产量的决定性因素.所以玉米育种要把g.c.a.放在首位.玉米配合力育种实行"测用结合" 以"测"为主的方法,优于"测用结合" 以"用"为主的方法.本文并对新组合的鉴定方法和技术作了探讨.

Abstract: The general combining ability (g.c.a.) is the crucial factor for forming yield of single-cross corn for its double (both direct and indirect > function to form the yield. Therefore, the first priority sould be given to the g. c. a. in corn breeding. The method of "combining testing with using and puttingtesting in the first place." is better than that of " putting using in the first place" in the combining ability breeding of corn. And some methods and techniques about the identification of new combinations are discussed in this paper.
