Abstract: In order to clarify the inherited characteristics of QR-001,the population of five BC1 and five F2 were constructed after one new resistant germplasm,QR-001,was crossed and backcrossed with five susceptible inbred lines. The genetic rule of the resistance to maize rough dwarf disease of QR-001 was primarily studied. The results showed that the resistance to maize rough dwarf disease of QR-001 was controlled by two sets of recessive genes. The application strategy of the new resistant germplasm was pointed out too.
