Abstract: A field experiment based on the orthogonal test design was carried out along the coastal area of north Jiangsu Province to study coupling effect of salt and fertilizer application on Atriplex triangularis in different concentrations salt soil. The results showed that:The total fresh weight of Atriplex triangularis increased when the salt concentration of soil was 7.5-8.5 g/kg(S2) or application of 100 kg/ha(N2) and 200 kg/ha(N3) N fertilizer.Based on the coupling of salt and fertilizer, the best combination that affected the total fresh weight of edible stems production of Atriplex triangularis was S2N3.Vc and protein contents of Atriplex triangularis increased with addition of 100 kg/ha(N2) and 200 kg/ha(N3) N fertilizer.Through the analysis of alternant effects, the factors for the quality was fertilizer of N,then followed by salt concentration of soil.
