Abstract: The transcriptional levels of Toll-like receptors(TLRs)in peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PB-MCs)from piglets were detected by real-time RT·PCR.The results showed that mRNA levels of most TLRs, except TLR2 and TLRl0, were down·regulated at 3 days post-inoculation(DPI).Whereas the expression levels of TLR2 at 24 and 40 DPI were significantly higher in piglets with P1 infection than that in healthy controls(P<0.05);TLR9 mRNA expression at 3 1 and 40 DPI showed an upward trend(P<0.1).These results suggest that the inflammation reac·tion mediated by TLR2 and TLR9 might play an important role in recognizing P1 and participating in the pathogenesis of P1.
