Abstract: The recombinant inbred line populations consisting of 162 lines derived from Qishanzhan (indica) / Akihikari (japonica) and its genetic linkage map were used to map the QTLs controlling the chlorophyll content of flag leaf. A total of 22 QTLs with main effects were detected on the chromosome of 3,7 ,10 and 12. Of them,s ix QTLs affected chlorophyll a content, five QTLs control chlorophyll b content, five QTLs and six QTLs control carotenoid content and total chlorophyll content, respectively. Each QTL explained 7. 4%-14. 6% phenotypic variations.

Key words: Rice, Recombinant inbred line, Flag, Chlorophyll content
