mRNA Expression of Galectin-13 in Piglets Gastrointestinal Tract of Pre-and Post-weaning

Abstract: The coding sequence of galectin-13 were cloned from tissure of piglet.The gene expression of galectin-13 were amplified by RT-PCR in various piglet tissues.The fold change of galectin-13 mRNA was detemined by Realtime PCR compared between pre-and post-weaning piglet gastrointestinal tract.The result showed that the full length of galectin-13 was 548 bp,and accepted by GenBank(Accession.NM_001142841).Galectin-13 mRNA expression was intensely expressed in most tissures and was significantly raised in duodenum and ileum after weaning(P0.05).
