Abstract: Spatial distribution pattern of insect is a kind of objective attribute and is inherent. In order to know the spatial distribution pattern of the endangerment characteristics of thrip to Alfalfa, investigation was conducted.Study spatial distribution pattern of the endangerment characteristics of thrip (Odentot hrips lati) to Alfalfa (Medicago sativa) adopt different scales. The results showed the pattern of Alfalfa belonged to aggregation distribution, and aggregation indices increased with the increase of population densities.By investigating the distribution patterns of spatial distribution pattern of the endangerment characteristics of thrip to Alfalfa,it was found that spatial distribution pattern of endangerment characteristics was aggregation distribution and its aggregation degree was 40 cm×30 cm-50 cm×30 cm.On the basic of the research, the optimum sequential sampling was south-north and size was 40-50 cm in bud phase. In the flower phase, spatial distribution pattern of endangerment characteristics was.Sequential sampling was 40-50 cm.Despite its immense potential as an forage species, very little is known about. The spatial distribution pattern of the endangerment characteristics of thrip to Alfalfa and it can be utilized to initiate plant improvement program of the species.
