Abstract: Crossed between the susceptible G. hirsutum self??line 1096 and the resistant introgressed line 1079 that derived from interspecific hybridization, then ident ified the diseases resistance of susceptible CK cultivar, parents, F1 generation and F2 generation in the Verticillium dahliae nursery. Investigation and statistic of the resistant performance of the parents, F1 generation and F2 generation were used for analyses on the inheritance of Verticillium wilt resistance of this germplasm resource. The results showed that resistance of this introgressed line to vert icillium might be controlled by a dominant gene and two additive genes, and the additive effect is most important and dominant effect is second. The two additive genes inherit independent. When the 2 additive genes simultaneously exist and homozygous, the individual per forms high level disease resistant, and when the 2 addit ive genes simultaneously exist and heterozygous, the individual per?forms disease resistant, and only 1 addiive gene exist, whether it is homozygous or heterozygous, the individual performs disease tolerance, and when all the 2 gene dont exist, the individual performs disease susceptible.
