Abstract: The actrial, nutrient and energy indicators of different organs in 6 silage maize cultivars in Hohhot were measured in different harvest periods. It showed that the contents and accumulative amounts of Total Digestible Nutrients (TDN), Cross Energy (GE), Digestible Energy (DE) and Metabolic Energy (ME) of different cultivars increased with the postpone of harvest periods, and the difference among different cultivars were significant. When harvest in pollen-scattering stage, grain-filling stage and milk stage, the enera accumulative amounts of Donglingbai, No.l Huanong and Zhongbei 410 were greater, especially Donglingbai, which can popularized in Large-scale production.

Key words: Silage maize, TDN, GE, DE, ME
