The Effect of Ethrel to Physical Activity & Quality of Cucumber Leaves

Abstract

Abstract: After treated with ethrel to the plant, the number of cucumbers' pistillate flowers was increased,the overgrowing of cucumber was ontrolled and the yield of it was improved, furthermore, this kind of treatment affects the physical activity and quality of cucumber. By treating with suitable concentration of ethrel (50 or SONt L^-1 separately), either the differentiation of pistillate flowers was promoted, or the physical activity of leaves was maintained well, which won't cause premature senescence, consequently laid a foundation for the high yield and high quality of cucumber.
