Application of Two-dimensional Electrophoresis in Protemic Studies of Horticultural Plants

Abstract

Abstract: Two-dimensional polyacrylamide electrophoresis (2D-PAGE) is one of the fundamental separation methods for proteome research. This paper reviewed its theory, development, advantage and shortage, and the application in protemic studies of horticultural plants. Perspectives of 2-D gel were also discussed.
