Attraction of the Adults(Lepidoptera)to Volatiles from Withered Leaves of Black Poplar

Abstract: Volatiles from withered leaves of black poplar,extracted as steam distillates and dichloromethane,attracted strongly for adults of Agrotis ypsilon,Laphygma exigua and Herculia glaucinalis in the field bioassay.The extractant became more active as the dosage increased,the species and amount of moths attracted varied with dosage,month and place.Among the moths trapped,there were more females than males.
