Abstract: The calculative method and the varying laws of the slope effect on greenhouse (relative increasing ratio of the daily total amount of solar radiation arriving the south slope to that arriving the horizontal plane) were described.According to the average declination from November to March and the 80 percent of the maximum slope effect of the average declination, the method and the basis determining the optimum angle of the slope effect were given by the theory of the slope effect. As a result, the optimum average angle of the slope (α0)can be calculated as α0=30°+3/5((φ)-30°)at the range of φ from 30°N to 45°N.
