Studies on Training Method of Sweet Pepper

Abstract: The Tosashishitougarashi was used as experimental material to probc into the action of girdling in this paper.The early yield increased 29.4-52.6% in the plots of girdling in comparison with that in ungirdling plots, Percentage of dry weight in fruit in the girdling plots also increased.The amount of root system and number of roots thicker than 1 mm in diameter in girdling plots were less than that in the control plots.The leaf area index, net assimilation rate and relative growth rate also decreased in the girdling plots.
