Studies on the Photosynthetic Characteristics of Chinese Jujube

Abstract

Abstract: The photosynthetic characteristics of different varieties of Chinese jujube (Z.jujube mill) were studied with infra-red CO₂ analyser from 1987 to 1988.The range of the light compensation points was from 400 to 1200Lx,that of the light saturation points was from 30 to 43 KLx，and that of the photosy-nthetic rates was from 6 to 16 mg CO₂dm^-2 ·h^-1，there are significant differences among the testing cultivars.The year change and the daily change of the photosynthetic rates were all double peak curve，the appearance of "midday nap" is clear.
