Abstract: Correlation analysis between main economic characters of sweetpotato and meteorological factors were studied in present paper. Several kinds of economic traits in 7 different color, leshed sweetpotato varieties at 5064,78,92,106,120,134 d after transplanting were investigated, and these traits included number of branches longest vine length, number of storage roots, storage root fresh weight , dry matter content , starch content , reducing sugar content , soluble sugar content , crude protein content. The results showed that the yield, elated traits of tested sweetpotato varieties had higher correlation with meteorological factors. The quality, elated traits of white, leshed sweetpotato varieties (Xushu 28 and Xushu 18) and purple, leshed varieties (Xuzishu 3) had higher correlation with meteorological factors while that of yellow, leshed sweetpotato varieties (Xushu 23 and Xu 0314) and orange, leshed sweetpotato varieties (Xu 3228 and Xu 5919) had lower correlation with meteorological factors. For most of tested varieties, the relationship between daily growth rates of the economic traits and main meteorological factors was not evident.
