Confirmation of Flixweed(Descurainia sophia) Resistance to Tribenuron-Methyl in Hebei Province

Abstract: Flixweed is a malignant weed of wheat fields.Producers found tribenuron-methyl failure for flixweed control.Flixweed has evolved resistance to tribenuron-methyl.The objective of this study is to confirmation the resistant level and distribution of flixweed to tribenuron-methyl in Hebei province,and 154 biotypes of flixweed were collected from winter wheat fields.Whole-plant pot experiment was conducted to confirmation the response of different flixweed bioyypes to tribenuron-methyl.The results showed that there were 30 susceptible biotypes and 124 different resistant level biotypes of the collected 154 biotypes,and middle and high resistant level flixweed was 84 biotypes.Flixweeds in the winter wheat fields of Shijiazhuan,Hengshui,Cangzhou,Handan,Xingtai,Baoding and Langfang urban areas had evolved resistant to tribenuron-methyl,and the middle and high resistant level rate was 62%,58%,57%,33%,55%,69% and 50%.Currently,resistant flixweed occurred in Hebei Province has been more serious,middle and high resistant level rate was 55%.
