Abstract: Different number of leaf branches and different consistency treatments were adopted with different genotype cottons. The results showed that the seed cotton yield ratio of single leaf branch and the individual plant was fall, with the number of leaf branch was rose. The seed cotton yields ratio of single leaf branch is about 16% with the 2 leaf branches, the 3 leaf branches is about 12%, the 4 leaf branches is about 9%. The seed cotton yields of leaf branches in the same treatment had no differences. The leaf area ratio of single branch and the individual plant was fall with the risen of number of leaf branches. The leaf area ratio of single leaf branch was about 20% with the 2 leaf branch, the 3 leaf branch was about 15 %, the 4 leaf branch was about 13 %. The number boll ratio of single leaf branch and individual plant was also fall, The cotton boll ratio of single leaf branch was about 20% with the 2 leaf branch, the 3 leaf branch was about 15%, the 4 leaf branch was about 13%, the cotton boll of leaf branches in the same treatment had no differences. The content of chlorophyll a of leaf branch and caulis had no change with treatments of different leaf branch.
