Abstract: The objective of this study was to investigate the storability and correlation between seed viability and grain traits of sorghum accessions stored in the normal temperature crop genebank.Seed viabilities of 249 sorghum accessions stored for 10 years were tested. The results showed that after 10 years storage the germination percentage of 205 accessions, accounting for 82.3 %of the total, declined to below 50 % and the germination percentage of 44 accessions, accounting for 17.6 % of the total ,were above 50 %.The germination percentage of a few accessions did not significantly declined,2 accessions above 90 %.Grain viability of accessions showed significant difference.Seed germination percentage was significantly positively relation with grain covering, glume seed percentage and endosperm corneous, and relativity coefficient was 0.282 0,0.297 0,0.130 4,respectively ;it was indistinctively negatively relation with the trait thousand -seed weight.
