Abstract: The research is to explore the effects of porcine circovirus- like agent P1 infection on counts and prolifer ation activity of Tlymphocyte in peripheral blood of piglets. Twelve 30- day-old guangxi bama miniature pigs were ran-domly divided into two groups of six animals each. A complete haemogram and single-color flav cytometry was performed to determine the Tlymphocyte of 3, 8, 17, 24, 31 and 40 days after inoculation. meanwhile, WST assay was to do the T lymphocyte prolfferation activity. There was no significant difference in Tlymphocytes prolfferation activity between the two groups of pigs( P>0.05).On the other hand, in comparison to control pies, the means of Tlymphocyte percentages and absolute counts were overall lower in pigs infectionwith P1. Altogether, the results would suggest that P1 infection has a certain degree of influence to mount an effective cell mediated immune response.
