Abstract: Using 15 wheat lines conferring different resistant genes to stripe rust, analysis were conducted with acombinat ion of correlation analysis, partial correlation analysis, path analysis and multiple regression analysis. By means of methods, the relationships were analyzed between main agronomic traits and the grain yield. The results indicatedthat correlationcoefficient between agronomic traits and grain yield were: spike number per hectare( 0.8240) > kernelsweight per spike( 0.749 0)> 1 000??grain weight( 0.403 5) > fertile spikelets number per spike( 0.134 6) > kernels perspike( - 0.057 5) > plant height( - 0.189 2); Partial correlation coefficients were: spike number per hectare( 0.570 6)> kernel weight per spike( 0.376 6) > 1 000??grain weight( - 0.256 5) > kernels per spike( - 0.239 6) > plant height( - 0.229 6) > fertile spikelets number per spike( - 0.064 6); Direct path coefficients were: spike number per hectare( 0.610 0) > kernel weight per spike( 0.371 7) > 1 000??grain weight( - 0.172 8) > kernels per spike( - 0??134 7) >plant height( - 0??133 5) > fertile spikelets number per spike( - 0??036 9). Regression equation was put forward, Y=1 475??106+ 2 332??538 4 X 4+ 5??720 8 X 5. In conclusion, the factors, kernel weight per spike and kernels per spike, play important role for contributing to yield enhancement and the relat ionship between agronomic trait and yield should bewell harmonized. It is of great significance for resistance to stripe rust gene??s pyramiding, new cult ivars breeding and higher yield agronomic traits.
