Abstract: The yield and duality of different forage grasses and alfalfa varieties in different cutting times were studied in this trial. The results indicated the suitalle cutting perid of alfalfa was earlier flowering stage, and grass and hay yield in the stage were highest; the suitable cutting period of forage grass was floweringstage. Grass and hay yield of different alfalfa cultivars had no much difference significantly, while higher thanyield of forage grasses. Crude protein yield of alfalfa was highest when cutting in sduaring stage and crude protein of forage grasses was highest in flowering stage. Cn}de fat yield of alfalfa was highest when cutting inearlier flowering stage and crude fat of forage grasses was highest in multi-flowering stage. And in same cutting period, cnoe protein and crude fat yield of alfalfa were higher than forage grasses. Comprehensive evaluation from yield and duality, FGC-301 and FGC-201 in alfalfa varieties and awnless biome were adapted in Hohhot.
