Abstract: In order to develop rapidly superior yellow peel of watermelon fruit, the individual plant was created in the isolated population of BC1 using watermelon with black peel fruit(H97) as femal parent and one with yellow as male parent(2605).The molecular markers linked to the yellow peel trait were isolated from the preceding plants of BC1 with RAPD technology in combination with BSA method. The result showed that a marker of AI09-1500 was obtained, and the cross-over value was 17.2%.
