Abstract: The basic physiological indcag of redox system of plasmic membrane were studied on two variety of pear, Pyrus ussuriensis Var. Ovoidea and P. betuloafolia. Bqe. The result shaved that drought could reduce both the oxidation rate of NADH and NADPH and the deoxidation rate of EDTA-Fe3+ and Fe(CN)63- of plasmic membrane. When water stress occurred, the oxidation rate of GSH and vitamin C(Vc) obviously increased, which indicated that GSH and Vc could be as electron donor of redox system of plasmic membrane besides NADH and NADPH.Probably under the water stress condition, GSH and Vc could replace NADH and NADPH, acting as electron donor of redox system of plasmic membrane.
