Abstract: The experiment uses Qianchonglang 2 and Qiuguang as tested material. The two kinds of rice are grown in different pots, added four kinds of concentrations of Na3 AsO4 12H2 O (0, 20, 40, 60 mg /kg),to simulate the paddy field contaminated by arsenic. The low concentration (20 mg /kg) of arsenic stimulates the plant growth of Qiuguang rice. The Qiuguang rice, under the low arsenic stress, has higher plant height, more tillering and dry-matter than the contrast one.But the stimulation is not significant in Qianchonglang 2.The low arsenic concentration stress makes different effects between the ordinary rice and the super rice. The influences of arsenic on rice quality are tested. The contents of protein, head rice rate, chalky rice rate and chalkiness degree decreased and alkali spreading value increased. The contents of amylase show no different.
