Abstract: Through a field experiment to study the effects of different ryegrass applicaton rates on soil physicaland chemical properties and quality of flue-cured tobacco leaves, results showed that: buring ryegrass could improvesoil physical and chemical properties and quality of flue-cured tobacco leaves, Compared with the control, the treatment of buring 22 500 kg /ha was the most obvious, The treatment of which could reduce soil bulk density by 0. 064g /cm3 , increase soil porosity and soil water content by 2. 48% and 3 . 71 % at the 30th days after transplanting, Inaddition, the treatment could increase soil organic matter, available N, available P, available K by 12. 18% -30. 84% , 6. 82% - 21 . 46% , 62. 19% - 119. 20% , 40. 02% - 85. 44% respectively, improve soil perviousness andsoil retention of water and fertilizer, improve quality of flue-cured tobacco leaves, The promotion of enzyme activitywas of great advantage to the turnover of organic matter and provision of nutrition to meet the needs of tobacco's regular growth.
