Abstract: In order to search a concentrated method of root exudates of organic acids, simulating the adsorption of macroporous resin for the main exudates of organic acids, the static adsorption behavior of the HPD-400 macroporous resin for citric, malic and tartaric acid in aqueous solution was studied. The results of the test showed: on the same condition, the order of adsorption capacities of the HPD-400 macroporous resin for organic acids were citric, malic and tartaric acid; Lowering the temperature was in favor of adsorption as well as heightened the concentration of organic acids; Isotherm adsorption curves of organic acids by the HPD-400 macroporous resin were all well fited to the Freundlich adsorption isotherm equation. The experiments indicated that HPD-400 macroporous resin could be used as the concentrated material of root exudates of organic acids.
