Identification of Genotypes Resistant to SMV and SCN on Soybean Cultivars of Jidou Series by Molecular Markers

Abstract: SMV(Soybean Mosaic Virus) and SCN(Soybean Cyst Nematode) are major diseases of soybean and serious harmful to soybean production.To seek available resistant resources for soybean production and breeding,fourteen cultivars of Jidou series were used to analyze genotypes of resistance to SMV and SCN by using two RAPD and one SCAR markers.The markers,OPL_07500 and SCW_05660 were linked to the resistance genes(Ra and Rc) to SMV strains(Sc and Sa),while marker OPAO_191200 was linked with the susceptible genes to SCN.The results showed that Jidou 4 and Wuxingyihao possess both resistance genes against SMV strains Sc and Sa.Furthermore,Wuxingyihao has the resistance genes against both SMV and SCN,so it could be recommended as the prior resistant resource in soybean breeding and production.
