Abstract: Four Cyclamen( Victoria, Pink, Black Red and Bright Red) were subcultured ten generations and then the new derived shoots were rooted. The limiting factors for rooting were analyzed by quantity statistics and significance test.T he result shows:genotype is stilLthe main factor affecting rooting.T he effects of differ ent hormone and the hormone contents have dramatic difference among the four races.T he leaf number of the regenerated shoot is a significant factor to affect the mean single shoot rooting?number. The regression equation is Y= 0.001+1.347X.

Key words: Cyclamen, Generation of adventitious roots, Genotype, Quantitative analysis
