Abstract: To spray uniconazole of 50~200 mg⋅L-1 at I leaf stage and after 15 days the rice sprouts were transplanted to the temporary mursery, the sprout height was decreased, the weight of the plant stem, tillering, and the number of total roots and white roots also were increased; the foot stem became wider and also the leave widered and shortened; the system of root activity increased; the soluble sugar, protein, chlorophyll content and POD activity in the leaves and the rate of photosynthesis all enhanced, while the rate of grain filling in later stage and the number of effective panicles increased.Among them the best was to spray uniconazole of 100 mg⋅L-1.The results showed the yield increased 18.09% in a small area than control in 1996,it increased 16.20% in a large area in 1997.
