Abstract: Regenerated plants of nine sorghum genotypes were obtained through tissue culture. Somaclonal variations were investigated in different generations. The results showed that there existed wide variations among the R1 plants, but not all the variations are inheritable. Lower frequence of variation was registered in R2 lines.but most of the variatious in the R2 families were inheritable and expressed stably in the R3 generation.
