A Study on the Callus Induction and Plant Regeneration of Different Sorghum Explants

Abstract

Abstract: Good callus induction was obtained from the cultures of five types of explants including kernel, mature embryo, young embryo, shoot tip and young inflorescence.Regenerating ability varies greatly with the different explant types,among which calli from young inflorescence has the best regenerating potential, next is young embryo.
