Isolation and identification of the Extra-strong Poison Strain 901 of IBD

Abstract

Abstract: A wild poison strain 901 was isolated from the bursal tissue of dead flow flock burst out by IBD, and its mortality rate was 63.51%.901 is extra-strong poison strain (IBDV).When artificially infected it to the 31-day-old health susceptible chicken flock,the death rate reached 71.4% and infected it to the 10-day-old SPE embryo and 30-day-old SPF chicken, the mortality rate was 100%.The typical pathological changes of IBD could be found in dead flow flock.
