Preparation of Mitochondria from Wheat (T.Aestivum L.) and Analysis of Its Protein with SDS-PAGE

Abstract

Abstract: Mitochondria of, wheat (T. aestivum L. ) was prepared and purified through differential centrifugation and density gradient centrifugation. Also,the polypeptide structure of it was analyzed with SDS-PAGE. The results indicated that the density-gradient-behavior of-mitochondria from wheat was the same as other plants',40-50 bands of polypeptide could be seen on the electropheretogram, and their molecular weight were 14KD-100KD.
