Abstract: The research has analysis the agronomic trait, basal internode morphological characteristics, mechanical characteristics, chemical constituents and yield of the maize under chemical treatment.Using the Xianyu 335 and Jinhai 5 as the research cultivar, set 67 500,82 500,97 500 plants/ha were designed to know the lodging of high yield summer maize in Hebei Province. The results showed that the chemical modifiers can significantly reduce plant height, ear length, high center of gravity internode diameter, internode diameter, long thick ratio,a significant increase of soluble sugar content, crude fiber content and potassium content while basal stem hardness, fracture resistance and tensile strength values of the plants also significantly increased, eventually significantly reduced lodging rates.Chemical control treatment significantly increased the yield of summer maize under density conditions.
