Abstract: The activities of SOD,POD,CAT and the content of MDA in Trigonella foenum-graecum L. seedlings?were studied under NaCl stress. The results showed that as the NaCl concentration increasing, the activities of SOD, POD,CAT increased at first and then decreased, and the content of MDA showed an increasing trend. Among all?treatments, the activities of SOD,POD,CAT got the peak when NaCl concentration was 1. 0% in the leaves and 0.?5% in the roots. In the treatment of 0. 5% NaCl concentration, three antioxidant enzymes worked together to resist?the injury from NaCl stress. The results indicated that the seedlings of Trigonella foenum-graecum L. could raise the?activities of antioxidant enzymes and decrease the membrane lipid peroxidation under salt stress, which could alleviate the damage of salt stress and improve the salt tolerance.
