Differential Expression of H-FABP Gene of Differrent Part Muscles in Laiwu Pigs and Duroc

Abstract: This experiment was conducted to study the differential expression of H-FABP gene in differential muscles between Laiwu pigs and Duroc, for making clear development of fat in Laiwu pigs. Ten Laiwu pigs and seven Duroc weighting approximately 100 kg were chosen for the experiment. Expression of H-FABP at mRNA in LM and semimembranous muscle of Laiwu pigs and Duroc were measured by real time fluorescence RT-PCR, IMF content were measured. The result indicated that: Compared with Duroc, H-FABP gene expression of longissimus muscle and semimembranous muscle in Laiwu pigs was appreciably increased(P>0.05). H-FABP gene expression of LM was markably lower than semimembranous muscle in Laiwu pigs and Duroc (P<0.05). Correlation between H-FABP gene expression of LM and IMF content in Laiwu pigs Duroc was prominent.
