Total RNA Extraction from Sorghum

Abstract

Abstract: A total RNA extract ion method is introduced.The main extraction reagent is CTAB, the total RNA from msorghum leaves was successfully extracted. The RNA produced clear bands, and the ratios of A260/ A280were between 1.8 to 2.0. These results showed that the total RNA was of very good quality, very good integrity, and it can be used for the construct ion of cDNA library, diffrential display and so on.
