Abstract: In this paper,Grain filling characteristics of spring wheat in different tillage were studied with cultivar(Xinchun 6) in Xinjiang. The results indicated that the change of grain filling characteri-stic of Xinchun 6 was consistent with logistic function in different tillage.Correlation coefficients R2 in equations were above 0.9981 with significant difference.Effect of different tillage on grain filling period, grain filling rate and grain weight in different grain filling stage was determined. The time with grain filling period in lag PHASe of no-tillage with wheat stubble was longer than that of convention tillage; In grain filling stags, grain filling rate of no-tillage was higher than that of convention tillage; In linear PHASe,the grain filling rate of no-tillage with wheat stubble and no-tillage without wheat stubble were 7.7%,7.4% more than that of convention tillage, respectively. Results from this study indicated that it is efficiency to enhance grain filling rate of grain filling stage and increases grain weight when we use suitable tillage.
