Abstract: 100-seed weight and size of starch granules of 446,26 and 2 shares of adzuki bean germplasm resources from major production areas in China,Japan and Korea separately were appraised in this paper. The results indicated that:The average value of 100-seed weight of adzuki bean germplasm resources in China was 11.63 g within the range of 5.28-24.47 g,and the difference between varieties was extremely significant;7 shares of germplasm resources of big seed or especially big seed which 100-seed was exceeded 17g were obtained. The mean of size of seed starch granules of all 474 shares of adzuki bean was 57.71μm within the range of 46.21-83.46 μm,and its generalized habitability(h2) was 58.99% as middle value. There was significant regression relation between size of seed starch granules(y)and 100-seed weight(x),and its regression equation was y=(38.07617)+(1.77062)x.
